Required documentation
Select the relationship with the deceased affiliate to see the required documents:
Required documents
Severance Withdrawal Request Form. Original format, properly completed (in the applicable fields), without cross-outs or erasures, signed with fingerprint by the beneficiary filing the request.
Identification document. (Citizenship ID, identity card, foreigner ID, or passport with valid visa). Photocopy of both sides of the deceased financial consumer and the beneficiaries.
Death Certificate. Copy of the document issued by the notary from the original document.
Extrajudicial declaration. Original document. Summary information from two (2) witnesses (unrelated to the family) with signature authentication, certifying who are the sole beneficiaries, identifying them by their ID document and precise names.
Official letter requesting publication of edicts. When the deceased financial consumer had no active employment, the beneficiary must provide an official letter reporting said situation.
Notices (Edicts) Art. 212 C.S.T. Publications by newspaper, radio, or municipal edict proving dissemination.
Bank certification and/or over-the-counter payment authorization. With issue date no older than 30 days, with account number or wire transfer authorization.
Declaration of heirs. Original document authenticated at notary, by each of the beneficiaries or a single document signed by each of the applicants, under oath.
Birth certificates of children. Authenticated copy of the corresponding document. For those born before June 15, 1938, a church baptism certificate is required; civil registry if after.
Note: When cases arise of minor children under the custody of persons other than their parents, they must attach a conciliation act from the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare (ICBF), Family Commission, or court order or competent authority indicating who holds custody of the minor.
Additional documentation in case of:
Accounts with seizures (Official letter)
Original or photocopy no older than 90 days issued by judicial entity or public entity addressed to FNA, which must contain: process number, full name, document type and identification number of the sued financial consumer and the plaintiff, indicating the lifting or modification of the precautionary measure on severance, social benefits and/or other emoluments.Accounts with external pledge
Original certification issued by cooperative or employee fund that expressly requests the UNPLEDGING of severance, in favor of the deceased Financial Consumer with their identification.Mortgage and/or educational credit for severance - National Savings Fund S.A.
Original certification issued by the National Savings Fund S.A. certifying that the deceased Financial Consumer is in good standing for all concepts.

When submitting the application documents, you must present your original identification document.

Full compliance with the completion and delivery of documentation will allow for agile analysis and processing of your application and provide a timely and efficient response.

For severance withdrawal procedures, documents will be received at the National Savings Fund S.A. one month after the publication of the second edict notice.

Remember that the generation date of authenticated documents cannot be more than 3 months at the time of filing.

If the severance balance is equal to or greater than 50 times the Current Legal Monthly Minimum Wage (SMMLV), a sentence or public deed from the succession trial will be required for delivery, and distribution will be made in accordance with what is stipulated therein.

By internal policy, the National Savings Fund S.A. establishes 45 business days to execute the payment of severance and/or AVC, counted from the day after filing the procedure in the entity's information system and once compliance with the requirements indicated in the DOCUMENT LIST FOR SEVERANCE AND/OR AVC WITHDRAWAL REQUEST FOR DECEASED AFFILIATE(S) has been met.
